About LinkWreck
A fast-paced browser multiplayer game where you swing a wrecking ball, smash rival cores, and fight for Scrap on a shared arena — no download required.
How It Works
You control a core attached to a wrecking ball by a chain. Move your core with mouse or touch — the ball swings freely with real physics. Smash enemy cores with your ball to wreck them and collect Scrap. The player with the most Scrap at the end wins.
Matches run for 120 seconds with respawns, so every fight matters until the final second. Pick up power-ups, earn in-match upgrades, and use the arena zones to gain an edge.
Features
Chain constraint and swing momentum drive every fight. Faster hits deal more damage and reward better Scrap drops.
Live WebSocket rooms powered by Cloudflare Durable Objects. See rivals move and react in real time.
Chain, Spike, Shield, Spark, and Boost pickups scattered across the map change your run on the fly.
Earn enough Scrap mid-match and choose from upgrade options that stack for the rest of the round.
Speed, Pull, and Snap zones reshape fights without cluttering the map — master them for a positional advantage.
20 core skins and 12 mace looks to preview and equip before you enter the arena.
Live Scrap leaderboard inside every match and a public REST API showing the top 10 across the server.
Runs entirely in the browser on desktop and mobile. Open the page and start playing instantly.
Technology
LinkWreck is built on the web platform. The game client runs on an HTML5 Canvas with a custom physics loop. The multiplayer layer uses Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects to keep game state consistent across all players in a room. A public REST API exposes live player counts, scores, and leaderboard data in real time.
Who Makes It
